Give a little, get a little.
ProjectPlaydate specializes in unique drop off childcare events. From pajama parties to zoo trips we make sure kids look forward to their parents taking a little “us time” as much as mom and dad do! But ProjectPlaydate’s commitment to building stronger families doesn’t stop there. 100% of our income stream funds nonprofit programs for families coping with homelessness in New York City.
Put joy on the calendar.
Life gets busy. When is the last time you scheduled some quality time for just the adults? At ProjectPlaydate our aim is to swoop in and take all the childcare worries off your plate for a few hours. What does this entail?
Trustworthy babysitters: Local childcare providers, “College Nannies + Tutors” and “UrbanSitter”, sponsor professional caretakers to work at our events. Our additional volunteer staff all boast stellar references and extensive childcare experience.
Imaginative venues: With the number of captivating kids spots in town you would think New York City was designed by Walt Disney, Dr. Seuss, and Roald Dahl combined. From Tribeca’s indoor Playgarden to Central Park’s Swedish Cottage Marionnette Theatre, we are grateful to all sorts of New York’s enchanting venues for opening their doors to host our events.
Healthy food: It turns out this city is also pretty good in the grub department. Meals at our events are sponsored by local eateries, like “Junior’s Fresh” and “Naked Pizza”, providing healthy, kid-friendly food. All meals are nut-free, just in case, and we do our best to accommodate other food allergies and constraints upon request.
Affordable prices: It’s true the money from our events goes to a good cause, but we also make sure it’s at a good value for the families that support us. We try always to make our events broadly accessible, but if our prices aren’t in your budget right now, drop us a line anyhow, we’d love to find a way to see you there.
