Our Event Coordinators are masters at planning safe and entertaining children's experiences. They will ensure professional end to end coordination and execution of your special event.


Amanda Raposo

Founder and Executive Director

Amanda is the Co-Founder of PAL and founder of Project Playdate. Amanda received her undergraduate degree in Social Work and Social Entrepreneurship from New York University. She recently graduated with her MBA from Columbia University. Amanda has previous experience as a summer school teacher, high school mentor, babysitter, tutor, and camp counselor; and has as been a childcare provider for over 13 years. She is passionate about creating safe, fun and enriching experiences for children. Amanda specializes in using the power of play-time to foster children's social, creative, and leadership skills.



Nicole Raposo

Nicole is a New York City educator and musician, specializing in Early Education ages 3 months through 3.5 years. She has spent the last 4 years teaching at Playgarden Prep in Tribeca and now manages their newest location on the Upper East Side. Her passion for teaching little ones through music is evident through lessons curated for students to explore their creativity, build character and have fun! She has been managing and working events with Project Playdate since 2012 and absolutely loves being apart of the amazing Playdate community!


Zoe Lathan

Zoë Lathan is a musical theater artist/choreographer and children's theater teacher newly graduated from The Broadway Dance Center. Being a transplant from Columbus, Ohio, she's performed and choreographed for various professional/regional theaters and was a children's theater teaching artist (dance specialist) with Columbus Children's Theatre. With 5+ years experience, Zoë enjoys integrating her performing arts experience/teaching into her part-time caregiving! With a passion for creation and collaboration among children of all ages, she strives to create a safe and open environment where children can develop their own ideas in positive and productive ways. She is currently working on producing personal artistic projects with her team and offers part-time care.


Liz Pegg

Liz Pegg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duquesne University and has been in NYC for 4 years. Recently, Liz worked with many children's facilities in the city including Kidville and Parker Anderson Enrichment, where she taught classes from newborn to grade 3, in many subjects including Architecture, Music, Art, and Gym. Liz also held a position as the Birthday party and events manager at Kidville Midtown West, where she planned parties for all ages and themes.


Alexandra Moss

Alexandra has experience with children as young as two weeks and as old as fifteen as well as children with special needs such as autism and cerebral palsy. She has hundreds of hours of early childhood classes and I have trained other adults on courses as well. She has been an after-school caregiver and help with homework and drive kids to dance and karate lessons. There aren't many things that she enjoys more than watching a child's face light up when they've learned or mastered a new skill and I love being a part of the process to get there. She loves children to be cultured and loves watching kids grow to be more and more self-sufficient every day.

Thomas Brazzle

Thomas is originally from Arlington, TX and made his way to New York after gaining his MFA in Acting from the University of Connecticut. He is currently working in various theater arts education programs working with students of all ages on improv, puppetry, writing and acting. He enjoys participating in city league sports, martial arts, and photography/web design.


Allegra Epstein

Allegra is a music and drama department head at Camp Wawenock, an all-girls sleep-away camp. I have also conducted drama activities and directed plays with girls from age 8 to 15. She graduated from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts Major in Acting. She has signed a contract with a prestigious talent agency and was also part of a Broadway production titled "The Crucible." Her playdates will include a lot of acting, role-playing, and unlimited experience of fun!


Liliana Vicente

Lillie is an early childhood educator with 5 years of experience as a Kindergarten teacher in Peru. After moving to New York, Lillie worked as both an Au Pair and private tutor. The list goes on about Lillie! She is a happy, energetic, charismatic, honest, creative, punctual, and kind. Most importantly, she absolutely loves working with children. Lillie has worked with 20+ families here in New York and has been working with Project Playdate for over two years. Lillie was recently promoted to a manager position because of her exemplary leadership and professionalism.


Shonette Anderson

Shonette is a single parent to her beautiful seven-year-old daughter and a student at Brooklyn College studying Early Childhood Education/Special Education with a minor in Psychology. She works as a head teacher in a Preschool located in Manhattan. She has experience in taking care of children from ages birth to 5. As a parent, she understands the importance of finding someone to take care of the children.


Dara Kramer

Dara is a native New York and actress who has been working in childcare for over a decade. She has appeared Off-Broadway and has narrated many audiobooks. Dara loves to tell stories, dance, sing, and craft. She also can't get enough of giraffes and the color turquoise.



Meredith Therrien

Meredith has had experience with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. She spent several years teaching various dance, art, music, gym, and science classes as well as preschool. She previously held the position of Camp Director & Birthday party manager at Kidville Midtown West and has led and coordinated hundreds of children's parties and events. Her musical theater and dance background help her find creative ways of engaging children and creating a fun, positive environment. Meredith is also a certified youth fitness specialist and kids yoga instructor.


Sam Patrick

Sam is an after school sitter to two adorable and fun girls and has occasional babysitting experience in NYC, Barbados, and London from children ages two months to 13 years old. She is fun, spunky, smart, disciplined and reliable. She has developed a way with kids over the years. She was an acting tutor and counselor in a performing arts camp.


Allison Ciuci

Allison is a theatre artist living in Brooklyn and currently looking for occasional work during the day or at night in addition to her part-time nannying position. She has been babysitting in her hometown in Connecticut since she was 14 years old, and worked as a babysitter in Manhattan throughout her time at NYU. Since graduating, She has been working as a part-time nanny, duties including pick-up and drop-off, basic meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation to various classes and activities. She is comfortable with infants and toddlers and she has experience with children of all ages. She has also worked as a theatre camp counselor for children ages 7-15, as a lifeguard for 4 years at the beaches in Connecticut, and as a high school and middle school tutor for math.


Akillah Clark

Akillah is a childcare professional currently studying theater and aromatherapy. She has experience working with children who have special needs and works with multiple NYC families as a private babysitter. When Akillah is caring for kids, there is always lots of exploring, creating and lots and lots of singing. She is active, engaging and always on! Her goal as a child care professional is to provide a safe and loving environment for the children she works to give parents peace of mind, while also making sure they can have a little fun!


Anastacia Tucker

Anastacia is a Chicago native, who relocated to the New York City area. She is an actress, dancer, and fitness instructor. Anastacia comes from a big family, in which she has had to babysit relatives occasionally, but has provided childcare to other families for the past 3 years. She loves teaching, telling stories, watching PBS Kids, coloring and creating arts and crafts, dancing and being silly with kids.


Catherine Amore

Catherine has been babysitting since the age of 12. She graduated from New York University (NYU) with a degree in Theater Education. As part of her requirements to obtained her teacher certification for drama at NYU, she taught for about five months in NYC Public Elementary School where she focused on theater education. She also worked as the Managing Director of a Huntington Learning Center, directly affecting students of every age in building up basic skills. She considers herself equally mature and responsible as well as fun and full of energy.


Chanel Forbes

Over 5 years of babysitting experience; Experience working with children through the Boy&Girls Club.; Infant/Child CPR Training Certified; Project Playdate professional for 2 years


Courtney Megaro

Courtney is so excited to be working with Project Playdate! A veteran to Project Playdate, Courtney has over ten years of childcare experience as a babysitter, camp counselor, coach, and drama club director. She currently cares for a plethora of children in New York City. She is an actress who recently returned from championing children's healthy eating habits across the country in the national tour of Foodplay!


Danielle Balog

Danielle has been an early childhood educator for over 7 years with experience teaching in the preschool classroom, as well as teaching specialty art classes for Shine, Citibabes, and River School. Danielle earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English from the University of Rhode Island in 2009 and was a student at The Art School at Old Church from 2009 to 2011. In 2014 Danielle began teaching private art classes throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Hoboken, and has developed a strong arts curriculum for children ages 2 and up. Danielle spends her free time traveling, creating art, doing yoga, and seeking adventure!


Jessica Streitfield

A recent graduate of the Tom Todoroff Studio Acting Conservatory, my passions include music, performing arts, communication, and gluten-free baking. I grew up in South Florida and left for Los Angeles at age 25 with a Bachelors in Creative Writing and a B.S. in Recording Arts. After spending a few years on the west coast developing as a singer-songwriter, I moved to New York City for acting training. One of my favorite gigs in the past year since finishing the conservatory was touring elementary schools with an anti-bullying show called Power of One. Nobody appreciates my talent and energy more than my nieces and nephew -- they inspired me to seek out more opportunities to work with kids!


Katrina Ong

Katrina comes from Belleville, New Jersey. She began dancing from a young age and realized how important the arts and awareness of the body is. She was always looking for new ways to be active and at the same time learning new things about the body. In her exploration, she found yoga to compliment her dance career. Yoga has brought a sense of grounding and a new perspective on life. She is so thankful for her mother’s support and guidance along the way. She is so excited to be part of Project Playdate.


Ludi Nsimba

I’m a native New Yorker who is bilingual in English and French. I work part-time at The Bronx Documentary Center as a Development Associate. I babysit for I know a city like NY is a busy one, and families need assistance from time to time. I have experience in babysitting from high school until present. I remain cool, calm and collected even during an emergency.


Melani De Guzman

Melani is currently a Teaching Artist for Marquis Studios, Fresh Youth Initiative, and Em Arts technique. I am also a professional dancer, choreographer, producer, and pilates instructor. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Dance and Sociology at Loyola Marymount University. She started babysitting at the age of 13, and also worked on several sleep-away camps, leading songs, organizing talent shows and coming up with the best skits! Her playdates are packed with a lot of singing, dancing, and acting!


Lynn Heron

I'm Lynn and I'm a senior studying Spanish and Arabic at St. John's University in Queens. I live in Astoria with my sister and I love it. I started watching children at age 16 at a daycare center for toddlers ages 18 months-5 years. Since then I have continued babysitting for children up to age 6. I have some experience with special needs children. I like to make sure children are engaged and not just watching movies or playing video games. I enjoy playing with them outside, weather permitting, or doing arts and crafts or reading books together. In my free time, I read and write and enjoy museums and travel.


Perla Dominguez

Perla, originally from the beautiful city of Monterrey, Mexico is a psychology graduate who has lived here in New York for the past three years. She is a very warm and passionate person who is just as comfortable at home with her dog Lucas as she is with a large group of happy, energetic kids. She is bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English and has vast and invaluable experience working with kids aged between 1-12, most recently as an au pair with Au Pair America. She is passionate about her interaction and impact on the children she takes care of and enjoys not only supervising them but teaching, influencing and educating them in a positive manner. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, creative activities, arts & crafts, and puzzles along with enjoying all the beautiful restaurants New York city have to offer.


Susan Ly

Susan is an actor with experience as a Teaching Artist for a STEM program where kids integrate concepts of theatre with science or math related topics, an after-school teacher, and has also performed in several children's shows (touring included). She absolutely ADORES kids and enjoys connecting with them through song, dance, movement, storytelling, brainstorming ideas, and/or being silly together. Learning should be exploratory, engaging, create a safe environment for growth, and most of all, fun!


Tommy Betz

Hello! Growing up in South Jersey, I became heavily involved in theatre and sports from the age of 6. Having played baseball and soccer for 10 years, I love to stay fit and have fun at the same time. Performing professionally since I was a child, I understand the importance of developing our creative selves. A dog lover above all else, I am a lover of all furry friends. I recently graduated from Otterbein University with a BFA in Musical Theatre, and am pursuing a career as a professional actor! I got started with childcare by taking care of my cousins after school a few times a week. However, I also have experience as a basic French tutor and a camp counselor! Now that you know a little about me I hope I can learn a little about you and what gets your children excited all while keeping them safe and smiling!


Ayana Workman

Hello! My name is Ayana and I am an actress who is born and raised in New York City! I recently graduated Rutgers University with a BFA in acting. Art is a central part of my life. Both of my parents are artists and educators, so I was raised in a world where arts are an important development tool for all children. My mother owns a dance school (MADLOM) in New Jersey for ages 4-18. I have spent my formative years in a creative and inspirational environment and I often substitute teach for her. I have been babysitting clients from MADLOM in New Jersey since I have been 16 so I am very comfortable with children. I am enthusiastic, fun, and very friendly. I can cook and I am very comfortable traveling around New York City on public transportation.


Monica Zambrano-Ardilla

Hi I am Mónica from Colombia, and I am a lawyer in my country, I am 32 years old. I have been working with kids of different ages since I arrived 2 years ago. I'm settled down and consider myself kind, honest, punctual. I have a son of 4 years old. I'm willing to go everywhere around Manhattan and am able to go everywhere around the city without any problem. Looking forward to hearing from you!



Julie Reich

Julie is a certified teacher with five years experience working in the New Jersey public schools as well as ten years of experience working in childcare. When not teaching, Julie has worked as a paraprofessional to students on the spectrum and with developmental delays, was a counselor and then director of various summer camps and afterschool programs, tutored children from ages seven to fifteen and worked as a nanny in New Jersey and currently in New York City. Julie’s wide array of experience and warm, energetic, and fun-loving personality makes every playdate full of creative games, silly songs and enriching experiences that your child will never forget!
